The XDP HD Replacement Battery Cable Set XD437 is designed to restore the function of the charging and starting system in your 1994-1998 Dodge 5.9L Cummins. Battery cables that are old, frayed, or failing can cause a lot of problems in your truck. Inferior battery cables can cause poor charging, hard-start or no-start conditions that can leave you stranded or put strain on your electrical system.
The XDP Replacement Cables are constructed from 2/0 (or 00 AWG) wire for optimal conductivity and are made specifically for your application with heavy-duty crimped-on tin plated copper terminals. Each connection is then sealed with an adhesive lined shrink wrap to reduce the risk of oxidization from the acidic battery fumes that can shorten cable life.
